Inaugural Post (18/6000)

OK, well here goes nothing. I figured if I like poker so much I better keep track of what I do, so that I can look back on it in a few years and see where I started. So far not much to report. I am by no means a great player, but I win my fair share of the monthly neighborhood games and if I am not too bored I make the money on SNG's on PokerStars.

I played yesterday on one of their massive freerolls that started with 6000 players. Top 27 make it into the $1000 freeroll next Sunday. After getting up to about 400K in chips I went to give KajaBaby a bath, night bottle and put her to bed. I came back and found that I am in the top 27. Two hands later I went all in with 6-6 and got KO'd in a race with A-10. Still quite impressive to make 18th place out of 6000 without even playing the last hour.

Tonight I will play again while my wife is at a class. Updates to follow.
