I got a rare night off from KajaWife last night when she headed over to a neighbor's house to talk and drink some vino. Not knowing what to do with myself I decided to play the WWdN. Not having more than 4 cents in my RiverStars account wasn't going to cut it, so I traded FTP$ for PS$ with slb159 (thanks again, man). And then I remembered why I don't play at RiverStars any more.

I was able to hold my own against some of the aggressive folks at the table, especially A'arab Zaraq, who kept trying to steal my blinds. I made a stupid mistake early on and overplayed a pair of 4s to lose a big chunk of my stack. I did win it back though and easily cruised to the first break. But then I tried a steal from the CO with A6s and got re-raised all-in by Columbo777 in the BB who was shortstacked. He had ATo so I was not happy with my call here. The flop was a wonderful A76 giving me two pair, but then the turn was another 7 and now he had me outkicked again. Boooooooo.....

Short-stacked myself now, I had to wait for a good hand and I got one in the SB with QQ. Button big-stack tried to bully me with a raise, I shoved, he called with A5o and hit an A on the river. So IGH 30/60 and learn my lesson for the umpteenth time.

I went on to tilt my $26 token on FTP in the 26K guarantee againstan idiot to my left who played 75% of the flops and caught every flop. I eventually got tired of it all and shoved with 55 knowing I was behind when 4 players went all in behind me (yikes). We were 55 vs 99 vs KK vs KQo (huh?). I hit my 2 outer on the flop but then luckbox hit his two outer on the turn and took all three of us out.

I donated some more money in a $5 MTT and a 90-seat $10 SNG. I was not happy with my play and just wanted to go to bed.

Then PS sends me the following e-mail:
