I played like a complete idiot last night in the RiverChasers event. I have no idea what got into me. I started a little earlier in the evening and managed to win a sat to the 50/50 and a 26 token in the frenzy. I busted in a super sat I played with LJ, but that one was a long shot anyway.
But when it got to the RiverChasers, I knew I needed to play well. I needed points. I needed to ward off 5 good players to make stay at the top of the leaderboard. One by one they started getting knocked out. TwoBlackAces was my biggest fear as he needed any place 7th or better to take it. dnasty needed a top 3. The others could only take it with a win.
-o-LuckTruck-o- managed to take it down. I can't recall playing with him before the BBT2 started but he is one strong, solid player. He made all three final tables this week. Read that again. All three! And he took down the Chasers. Way to go, man! Well deserved. I just have a good feeling about the 1M guaranteed FTOPS #7 you are going to play on Sunday.
As for me, the night ended early in all my tourneys, not just the Chasers. I ran AK into AA in the 50/50. I made a deep run in the FTOPS #3 satellite, where I played to the left of Andy Bloch, and won every pot I was in with him. But ultimately I got impatient and busted short of the prize. Dumb.
One glimmer of hope remains and I will need to focus on it for all of next week. I am still in the lead of the overall leaderboard and if I manage to stay there I make the FTOPS ME. Now that could be sweet. Wish me luck!

How is that different than any other time?
I assume you're referring to me playing like a complete idiot last night? LOL. Well, you would be the expert on that topic, wouldn't you?
Thanks for the good wishes. At this point, myself, Riggstad, and Boo_Diggety have all qualified for the FTOPS 7... we all work together and run Riverchasers. We'll see how it goes.
Honestly, I think it was you crackin' my aces last week that pushed me to concentrate this week to try and win my seat. I was fired up... as you could see.
See ya on the felt soon. -Griff
