Subscription Milestone

I've been tweaking my blog lately. Playing around with positioning stuff around and shifting sizes and colors and so on. One of the things I like keeping track of is how many people actually read my nonsensical drivel. Well, a few days ago I played around with some setting and found out I have over 100 subscribers! How in the world????

Well, up until lately I just used to see how many bloglines readers I had. But I recently found out the Feedburner was bought by Google. And what this means is that they now have a way to hijack the default blogger feed and consolidate all the stats into one place. And when I did I found out I was at 102 subscribers. And it's jumped to 108 the next day.

So you can sign up for Feedburner for free. Then when you burn your feed, you get the following window:

You fill that out and take the Feed Address and copy that into Blogger:

Anyway, there are a bunch of cool features you can use to optimize your feed. And it's also an easy way to get some stats.

So a big thank you to all my subscribers and readers. Hope this was helpful. Feel free to ask me questions if you have any.
