Knitting class

Guest post written by Helen Johnston

My mom used to knit all the time.

Any time I wanted a new scarf to match a certain outfit I would let her know and we’d pick out the yarn together to make sure it matched my outfit perfectly. I had always wanted to pick up the skill too but never had the patience to sit down and practice. So of course, I never really learned.

After I retired, I decided to finally learn how to knit as a hobby. I enrolled in a class for it at the senior center and went prepared my yarn and needles in my bag. As the teacher started talking, I noticed that I was having trouble hearing her so when I got home I looked online at some miracle ear hearing aids reviews and started thinking about buying one. I talked to some friends about the subject and they suggested Miracle Ear hearing aids New York, so I got fitted with some.

At the next class I came in a little late so I had to sit in the back. But to my pleasant surprise, I could hear just fine!
