I have not and will never watch an episode of Jersey Shore. But I have to say the Snooki site where they stick her in a bunch of photos is quite hilarious. I found two, here and here.
So I had to make one too:

Chicken Dinner
Not sure why my not-yet 5 year-old has been saying winner winner chicken dinner for the past week, but if it was anything to do with being able to tell the future, then I need to get her to start saying Mega-Millions Jackpot instead. All that was to say that I was the big winner in the neighborhood game. Haven't seen that result in a while.
We started out with 14 players playing two short-handed tables. I had some good hands, some bad one and a massive bluff that tilted half the table. We merged and I got the button on the re-draw and pretty much never looked back. I was raising aggressively and willing to play a wide range in position into the huge blinds.
Sure I got lucky a few times. For example I knocked out two shorties at once when I shoved my button into their blinds and made a straight on the river against a pocket pair and flopped top two. But I also lost with flopped straights. I won a couple of crucial races too.
The final hand was epic. I had a big chip lead after knocking out 3rd place. We went all in with me holding A9 against AT. I flopped two pair on an all heart board. He made the nut flush on the turn and then I ended it with a river boat. For the record, that was a suck, re-suck, re-re-suck FTW. I would have still had the chip lead had I lost.
Anyway, since the game was going long and there were not enough people for a second game, we decided to play it out heads-up. That only lasted two hands though. I took first place cash plus 5 bounties. So that was a nice little score.
Yay for me.
